Meet The Volunteer Team

On Saturday February 11, 2023, Richard & Vernetta Wisniewski, StreeHeat-Ministries' Illinois Division Coordinators donated care packages to the homeless  and directed the distribution of the care packages with other volunteers from the  Illinois State Youth Auxiliary and Hazel Crest Assembly Church.

Hello Everyone. Thank you for your support.   Just a quick update to keep you informed about our community outreach actitivies. 

The Illinois Team operates in the South Suburban area Cook and Will Counties,servicing homeless and underserved individuals with food, water, and other vital items. Help is distributed mostly to individuals living underground in tents or located under bridges. Recent activity included teaming with a sister church in Joliet, IL to help homeless persons dwelling in tents under an overpass. 
Monthly care bags  are being distributed to those who live in tents in the underground Wacker Drive area, those who live along Roosevelt & Desplains near the I-90 North.
