StreeHeat-Ministries Inc

About George Vaughn President

George Vaughan was born on August 13, 1958 at the previously known Cook County Hospital, Chicago, IL. In 1958 and during the heart of the civil rights movement, I experienced firsthand many injustices in America while attending Du-Sable High School and later Moraine Valley Community College in Illinois. In 1983 I underwent a lifetime change when I was Baptized in Jesus’ Name. God filled me with the Holy Ghost while attending the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Morgan Park in Illinois. God gave me new and better vision and a new outlook on life. In 1989 I joined the Laborers International Union as a craft construction worker. I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1997 where I became a marketing representative and union organizer for the Laborers International Union throughout the remainder of my tenure. As a union organizer I welcomed the passion for helping people. In 2009 God gave me, the vision of StreeHeat-Ministries. After a lot of praying, in January 2010, StreeHeat-Ministries, Inc. was born and established as a nonprofit charitable corporation. In 2017, I retired from the Laborers International Union and became the fulltime Founder and President of StreeHeat Ministries. I continue to serve today as the Founder and President of this great nonprofit charitable organization.
